Interesting Doug,

Mine has brake wear indicators installed - it fits into that groove on the pad, unless I am missing something?

Part numbers are different though, then I would stick to 461 part no. How much do they cost at MB Riaan?

Sorry Gerhard, you are correct. Monty does not haveany brake indicators.

Don't know Gerhard - Maybe Chris can give an idea he did his a while ago on his proff.

Adolf also did his G350's hope he will post here.

Hi, I just did my front brakes. New discs from MBSA were R1500 for both. Got a set of ATE pads for R895 from Rivonia Auto Spares.

Apparently ATE is a softer compound than Ferodo but then the pads wear and not the discs

That's what I heard that Ferodo is very hard. Do you have the Ate pads part number?

I must still try the Metelli pads (with wear sensor wire which I'll just cut off) I got from masterparts. Iveco part has same disc.

Hi Leonard, the part number is AG638 for the ATE pads. I had to modify the connector for the brake wear sensors but it wasn’t a big thing at all and beat the R1093 I was quoted by MBSA for the set of front sensors.
