What is the problem Cornel?
I have the sender unit wire to fix if it is the problem.

Thx Alan, it currently has an aftermarket fuel gauge in. Would like to have the original one work. I have read somewhere on the forum that they are quite pricy??

The sender unit in the tank is quite pricey - about R3000 if I am not mistaken.

They don't easily break it is just the wires that go - and as Alan said he has the correct wire with which I fixed mine and works perfectly.

If yours was connected to that other gauge and it is working, then I suppose the sender unit would be still working and it is just a matter of re-connecting the original one to the sender unit.

Cornel, Question is still is it the sender or the actual gauge in the instrument cluster that is not working?
Do you know if the original sender is in the tank? If yes then they probably put the gauge in because: a. the gauge is faulty, b. cabling faulty, or c. They liked a bigger gauge.:p:eek:
