Cars in the Park - Zwartkops Pretoria

Pretoria Old Motor Clubs hosts the yearly Cars in the Park at Zwartkops on 7th August 2011.

It is a static display of Cars of various ages displayed by about 103 Car Clubs this year.

The past two years saw an average of 2,5k cars on disply with about 10k visitors on the day.

The Benz Club takes up the biggest stand in terms of number of vehicles on display while the Unimog Freunde, SA Club will take up the biggest space in terms of sqm

.

All Unimog owners are welcome to bring out their Mogs for this display. It is interesting to watch the dads explaining to the kids "we used these trucks on the border" and walk around them while touching them with fond memories in the eyes.

Come and say hallo at our stand, you might just be in time for a spin around the track at the breakneck speed of 10kph

Is there a stand for the Gwagons as well?

Not sure about the G's and what arrangements were made with Pretoria Old Motor Club.

I would suggest that the Benz Club be contatcted, might be that you can share in there space but have no information regarding their arrangements.

Thing is, you have to have arranged for a stand prior to the CiP event, or show your vehicle with the non Clubs

Principle of CiP is "Old Cars" or special vehicles and not "all cars" - normally a rolling 20 year cut-off on age.
