Andrew showed me a "generic" rubber strip you can use...it also doesn't require any drilling. PM him?

Andrew's solution is better IMO. Easier to fit, and flexes much better.

Here is a pic, not "trimmed", only to indicate the profile.

    Re: fender flares

I may have a set of flares in a parcel of spares I bought last week. I know nothing of condition or if bumper corners are included but if I get them I will advise you.

    Andrew

Do you have some of those strips I want to try and fit them and see if one can't nicely round off the ends.

    Thanks

    Re: fender flares

Yes I have got some here.

And maybe we can start a new thread with a couple of guys trying to make the plan work and swop ideas until it works.

It comes from Rubberite in Mitchell street and is about R100/m and really is a good quality profile - looks like something that could be OEM.

There is also a profile that is almost identical to the sill strip under the door. It has an aluminium backing that can screw into the existing holes and then the rubber strip slides / clips into that. Once again the ends are the problem.

Hi Andrew, I'm also interested in these strips, both types actually, have you been able to make a plan with the ends etc.? Chris.

HI Andrew I would also be very interested. Can we get them from you and have you been able to make a plan with the ends?
