Which models did Australia get...cause that would mean they (MB) have the design....I would have thought the Professional is closer to the military spec & since Australia ordered some (well a lot) they would carry that design through...

The "Service Plan" for the G300CDI will cost you an extra R23750.00 It will include the cost of labour as well as service items due at the time of service, i.e. oil changes and filters. Excludes maintenance items such as brake disks, brake pads and shocks.

Chris, IMHO, don't take the service plan, after the 1 year guarantee period, "Dirk-Mobile service" is far more reliable and cheaper! Talking to Stan Illmann, he will not bring any of his "Entdeckers" to MB, not even for an engine wash!
