Munga, if the PCD is the same and have 5 holes it "should" fit. here is the schematic with all required dimensions. Best is to check first.

Thanks. All fitment of bolt holes seem to be the same for the 17" and 16" rim. I am just worried about clearence on the rotors and brakes.
No, it won't fit, calipers too large. That was my first plan to get my ML '02 offroad ready, so I bought a set of 16' rims but could not fit.
All ML rims PCD 5/112.

192 000 km done untill now.
But stil I love this car!

The bilsteins only lasted 15k km or your previous set? What did you have before? What size and type tyre are you running now? Have you found a cheaper brake pad and rotor alternative than OEM?
Mine has 172k on it. I fear injectors soon. How much are they?
- The Bilsteins lasted 15k, before that OEM, now in is Monroe.
- Tyres 245/70/17 BFG KM2, but I think 265/65/17 wil be better because it is 8J rims.
- Injectors R3400 each.
- Brake pads OEM.
