Hi Andrew,
Nice report on a nice trip!
Thanx for sharing.

Andrew
Pragtige verslag - jy was naby my ma se familie daar in die koue bokkeveld! Ek droom nou al lank van n trip daarnatoe maar soos jy se: So many places...so little time!
Thanks gents,
Is there some ground for sale that you know about in the koue bokkeveld?
As for Orania - I normally say my surname as Van Vieslikevan. When they hear my accent they assume I am Dutch, offer me cheese and a discount. (dat bin een veel te duur, pispaalje)
Van Varkevisser
Van Moerkerken
Nederbok
Varkefo**er
(real Dutch surnames by people who did not believe that the government could force people to have surnames and therefore made a joke of it)
Eishh!
Groete tot later
Freek
Andrew,
(For the English readers: Traditional advice when buying farmland in the dry regions: "Ensure there is water, the soil we can cart in later"

I'm from a farm near Orania You can contact me if you need any information about the place. My fathers nephew has a very nice fishing spot close by if you like camping.
Welkom Jaco!
