I just spoke to someone at autobooks, and they don't have the book anymore, but they do have a cd for R250, and the diagrams isn't that clear. But I think I'm still going to buy it.

Is the link that was showed earlier on the thread the one to order, because it is priced at $60? Is that the right one?
You can even buy the 2008 version for 50USD. http://www.autocd.com/index.html?q=10&gc=2844&sha=0
For a 300GD the year is not really an issue...
The information is really detailed.
Also search ebay and local sites for "WIS". http://www.bidorbuy.co.za/item/15408...YSTEM_WIS.html
Here is the type of info you will find in there: http://www.mb4x4.co.za/forum/showthr...ull=1#post1289

The WIS is pretty much useless for the older W460's especially the english language - there is lot more german stuff on the wis . Absolute nightmare to navigate with - to this day I have not worked out how to use it effectively. Suggest you get Harald's manuals . ( http://4x4abc.com/ )

The Haynes manual that I have bought for many brand of vehicle and been a firm believer in, has no mention of the existance of a flywheel or differing ones or different starters for W123 diesels. Peter Russek manual (R300) + Haynes W123 diesels (R375) and still not sitting with some info if it wasnt for this forum!
Hi Everyone,
I found a manual for the 406 280GE here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?w8uu3dmxbeuo7ey
It is 94mb, download in zip, and opens the pages of the manual in .jpg images.
remember the password to open the files which is MANUALMADNESS.COM
if you got a password manager you don't have to type / paste it every time.
Manuals for other G-wagen models can be found here:
http://manualmadness.com/category/se...rvice-manuals/
Hope this is of some help !
CvdL.
Before I start downloading 100MEG of data are these service or repair manuals?
