Geländewagen & Unimog get together:
The G extreme team invites you for a day of epic proportions. On the 17th of July the Geländewagen will be meeting its big brother the Unimog on a course designed for the daring. The Mercedes Benz Ultimate 4x4’s and friends will meet at the Veldcor track (see map attached) and then continue the day on the G extreme track.

What to bring:

Your 4x4 (R 200 entrance fee per car)
Your friends and family
Picnic basket and chairs (fire, pap, sheba will be provided and refreshments will be available)

Programme:
8:00 for 8:15 Meet at Veldcor
8:15 - 8:30 Drivers briefing, coffee and rusks
8:45 - 12:00 Drive Veldcor track
12:15 - 12:30 Leave for G extreme track
13:00 - 13:15 Drivers Briefing
13:15 - 15:00 Drive G extreme track
15:00 - 17:00 Braai

Its close, about 1.5km. Might as well take the MTB if I cant hitch a ride...

I went to Veldcor this morning and had a walk-about with Daan.

His facility is in great condition and he is putting a lot of personal effort into making us feel at home on Saterday morning.

We will have his 411.117 closed cab and my 411.110 cabrio parked infront of the house for anyone to enjoy.

We will not paticipate in any ditch driving however. If our oldies break it become virtually impossible to get spares to fix them. And the rule is, if I am not mistaken "you drive it, you break it, you fix it" even if its you buddies 4x4

hi,would like to know how much is entry for the general public coming to view...R200? Or is that for participants?....And how much will it be if you arrive via MTB?
