    Namibia trip

Few pics of our Nam trip last year. I can really recommend the Richtersveld and also a place called Kanaan on the D707 in the south of Nam. Unfortunately the G stayed at home. Except for a narrow encounter with a 4m black mamba, everything went well.

Ja, couldn't get the visco fan sorted out in time, but also had a look at fuel consumption and maybe aircon and had to keep up (speed wise) with the other vehicle (hilux).

But, I know, non is good enough reasons......

    Next time.

What a beautiful countryside! My favored landscape, the desert! Will be there end of July with my G300CDI, the new "Muffetta 2"!

    Thanks for sharing!

Dont like you so much anymore. Only because I'm green with envy!
Born there and with every border crossing a feeling that cannot be explained, only experienced.

Nice pics and looks like an awesome trip!!

    Michel

Where are you going in July and dates?

I have also got a tour from 23 Jun for 22 days. We are doing the North West of Namibia.

We are going to be 8 vehicles (my boss who lives in Windhoek thinks it's an invasion - not a tour ).

    Regards,

    Arnold

    Re: Namibia trip

Arnold that sounds GREAT! We are still in the process of organizing dates mid of July or mid of August or mid September what we want to do is from Swakopmund to the Kunene river mouth through the Skeleton Coast (we will have the permits) and then to Ruacana and then through Botswana back to SA. more or less 3 to 4 weeks ... hmmm maybe a day longer This will be with an organized tour with Volke-Magic-Tours. However nothing is yet "concrete" and we have to see how many people can we get together.
However, I won't disregard your generous offer and will keep it "hot" under my pillow . When will you finalize the trip?

    Ciao, amzimmy
