Fiberglassed Body Filler

Anybody has experience with the body filler product that contains fiberglass strands: re the success/ durability of a fix with it.

I am thinking of closing minor cracks and rust spots on my 411 cab with this.

Lead or welding could work but would require expertise that I will have to go and buy, and with the bad experience I had with my cab, I am hesitant to get others to help.

Would be a temp fix imo.

Anything you do to stop the spread of rust will be benifitial, but require removing the rust. if you have movement in those cracks, (if they are wide) that will crack again and make a nice hole for water to go sit in. (eventually).

Here in CA that would be salt water but not so bad up there.

Could work as a temporary measure.

Hi Stefan,
We use it on a daily basis but there are some trics to the trade,i must
remind U that the Nissan/ sani conversion was done like that .
A few seperations occured in the beginning ,but that was soon resolved.
What more must i do to convince u guys that steel must be used for
making spykers & eating utencils.
