I spoke to the dealer : 'Transport Excellence' in Pretoria. The "AMG" classification refers to the 18" wheels and dual exhaust system. The previous owner apparently had the motor and gearbox overhauled. Has papers to prove.
Does anyone in Pretoria know the history of this vehicle? It looks like a re-spray, which could be just a cover-up for a rust bucket. Alternatively, it could be a good, expensive job but why then would the previous guy sell?
I would be happy to hear any comments. The guy will take R100k cash,

I've seen it and the respray is not very good. They cut a lot of corners, last time I saw it the white paint on the head light covers were cracking, a few bits were missing on the dash, the spoiler on the roof didn't look to great, oh and those 18" mags come from a Porsche Cayenne. R100k is waaaayyyyyyyy over priced.

Ask for a copy of the papers and VIN number - I can look up its datacard for you.

Will be expensive to restore to original state ( only if you want too )
Will need to get wheels, exhaust , beading , bumper redones

So there is not even any AMG components on the car!
