I have a second G ( 1981 240GD with 300 engine ) whose body is extremely rusted. I think every panel has severe rust on it. I bought this vehicle as a living donor in case my other nicer one suffered major organ failure. I have been thinking of doing something more with this vehicle - perhaps some kind of beach buggy/ farm bakkie or whatever. Any other ideas?

Get one of those fibre-glass Unimog bodies and make it into a flip cab, Forward Control G-wagon bakkie?

Looking for something different, perhaps change registration to that of a tractor and bolt on a few lights and seat and drive it like that!

Mmm, find an armoured one, mould it in fibreglass and fit the glass body! Those are mean scary looking and would intimidate every Hummer or Gurka into submission!

In the lastfew years I am aware of at least two redeemable bodies that became available.
Hang on to it and the papers. IMO.
