For those looking to Green up your G for 2012. It seems that you can buy Festoon bulbs with LED technology off the shelf now quite reliably. Easy to replace and will last forever plus uses virtually no current.

You can also get them at Outdoor Warehouse (for double the price).

I recently fitted some to my cruiser and they really work well - give off much more light than the original bulbs.
