Molteno Revival Challenge 2011

On Saturday 5 November 2011 the well known MOLTENO Challenge was revived, after 14 years of abscence and what a great event.!!!!
Congratulations to Arnold and Andelene Ross for 2nd place in the Novus Class with a score of 570/600. That an achievement in a 300GD LWB stock standard.
So nice to see an husband and wife team competing together.
Next year event will be held on the first weekend in November (date to be confirmed).
Hope to see more G's at this event.

Thats one moerse mb star you have on your G.....

I remember as a kid going to the Molteno challenge every year with my father, grew up in Middelburg cape which was quite close.

I remember a land rover with 2 steering wheels, one for front and one for the back, so co-pilot also had to steer. It could drive side ways like a crab....i loved it.

Must have a look if i still have photos, was around 1986.

The Khumo's are excellent so far! On tar it is nice and quite (easy to balance as well) and on the obstacles I deflated them to 1.5 bar and they were going excellently!

I have seen a G350 LHD cabrio in Stellenbosch. Charcoal color.
